You must have saved your SH3D file with a very old version < 5.3 (look in About dialog box). In that case, install a more recent version like 7.4 found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/sweethome3d/files/SweetHome3D/SweetHome3D-7.4/
open your Sh3D file, save it, copy it on your device and it will work.

First of all thank you for your prompt feedback in taking care of the issue and taking the time to look into it.
I confirm that using the latest version7.4 then the file is compatible with ios mobile, thanks
Any info about the issue2: "Import / export sh3d files in several formats (pdf, png, joeg, svg, obj) and it import sh3d files from other devices."
Would you prefer I open a new ticket?
thanks
The mobile version isn´t able to export the current project to PDF, images or OBJ files.
thanks and how using the desktop version: how could I export the plan & 3d view to jpg/png/non vector image format using the latest desktop portable version? I could see the menu entries for the export in pdf, svg, obj but I could not find the png, jpeg formats.
Select in the plan what you want to see in the image and copy/paste it in any imaging or word processing software.
Thanks, it works but I'd not call it then export functionality. it would be a nice feature to add in the roadmap especially when the app is advertised with import/export functionalities ;) , thank you for your prompt and kind help
It's just an indirection and marketing obliges sometimes to simplify things otherwise nobody read it.
But you can also use the ExportPlanImage plug-in if you want.
