No

I opened Sweet Home 3d after not using it for a while and was surprised to see all the menu fonts were so large they were unreadable. I tried checking everywhere to fix this and I have not downloaded any plugins for it. I do have the latest version. I even attempted to open an old design and nothing changed. I also attempted to use full screen for the program which also didn't change anything. I will attempt a restart but the fonts on my pc are fine. How can this be fixed?

What versions do you use (see About dialog box)?

7.0.1. I think I fixed it for now, at least. I restarted my computer, (2 times, first time didn't work) and it seems to be fixed. It may have been a strange Windows issue, but there was no updates (for Windows). Not sure. But it is fixed for now. Ty for trying to help, it is appreciated.

    Hello,
I have the same issue (never had it before) and windows reboot (4 times) woudn't help.
    Can't live that way :(
    Have 7.0.2 installed.
    Any Ideas?
    Thx and regards from Germany!

Three years later, I am having the same problem on Elementary OS 8.1 (based on Ubuntu 24.04, Linux kernel 6.17.0). I am using the newest version of SH3D from Flathub, ie 7.5 with the included Java version 1.8.0_202.

I tried fiddling with -Dsun.java2d.dpiaware, -Dsun.java2d.uiScale and -Dcom.eteks.sweethome3d.resolutionScale, but I could only change the UI as a whole, not just the font size.

Another problem I have, and I don't know if this is related in any way, is that I have to start SH3D TWICE for it to work. When I start it once, I see the splash screen and the icon in the dock, but nothing seems to happen. Only when I now launch Sweet Home again (without killing the other instance) the application opens.

Sweet Home 3D (version 7.2) that comes from the Ubuntu repositories works fine, but when I try to launch version 7.5 with the 'native' Java from the Ubuntu repositories, I get a Null Pointer Exception.

    Cheers!

I forgot to mention: the version on Flathub seems to be 100% the same as the one provided on the Sweet Home website and the behaviour is identical -- including the need to launch the application twice.
