swcbe-1.0 has been released, an implementation of the smith-waterman algorithm on the cell broadband engine (PS3). Handles arbitrary length databases, with queries limited to (32767-og)/eg, where og is the open-gap penalty, and eg is the extend-gap penalty. http://swcbe.sf.net
