I think this might be Linux specific. It seems to support
large files on Mac OS X for some degree.
I have a 300 minute show which is over 2G (it says 300
minutes) :
-rw-rw-rw- 1 davidwat unknown 2441641984 Aug 10 22:35
1029041333.mpg
It plays fine using QuickTime 6 Pro, but seems to finish
early when played through DVArchive. If I try to forward
through using the 'QuickSkip' button on the ReplayTV
remote, it seems to have a limit and it won't 'QuickSkip'
past that point. The error log keeps showing 'broken pipe'
errors (which it does with many shows, actually).
