Dear community members,
I want to prepare boundary conditions using wave parameters of WW3 datasets
for running SWAN model in a regular grid setting. For doing this, I have
prepared 30 so-called TPAR files in the latitude of 20 between 58 to 72
longitude. My CGRID is latitude of 20 to 27.5 and longitude of 55 to 73.
The user manual introduces two ways of defining the boundary conditions,
but I have failed to implement them.
1) When I run SWAN by SIDE command, the model stops after 3-4 days of run
and this error appears in the prt file:
** Severe error : No convergence calculating the spectrum
** Severe error : at the boundary using parametric bound. cond.
2) When I use SEGMent command (whether IJ or XY), model doesn't run and
this error appears in the software:
forrtl: severe (157): Program Exception - access violation

I attached my command files for each method and a TPAR sample file. I
wonder if anyone knows what the problem is. I appreciate any feedback or
sample command file of successful implementations in which parametric
boundary conditions were utilized.
Thank you,
Amirmahdi Gohari
