Is there a way to avoid "unexpected chunk size" errors?
I am a new user, and I am getting repeated "unexpected chunk size" errors that prevent me from reopening my saved soundfonts.
The latest error message was:
"Failed to load '/home/leon/Music/Drum rhythms/Doumbek-Djembe.sf2': SoundFont reader error: Unexpected chunk size (ofs=5c7206, traceback ['ibag' ofs=0x5C7206, size=360 <= 'pdta' ofs=0x5C6F24, size=9518 <= 'sfbk' ofs=0x0, size=6067282])"
I reproduced this error by selecting "File > Save All" from the menu and then either pressing Enter or clicking on "Save" WITHOUT highlighting the file name in the dialogue box by clicking on it.
What version of Swami are you using and from what source (distro package, source code archive)? There are some known file corruption bugs which occur when saving over a file. The current git repository has code for resolving this, but hasn't gotten a huge amount of testing. Please give the git source code a try, if you feel adventurous. It is under fairly heavy development though.
