Hi Tobias, Would you be willing to add these changes to trunk ? This would make it easier for us to keep up with updates without having to modify the code all the time. 73s Robbie ON4SAX ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Robbie De Lise <rob...@gm...> Date: Fri, Jul 30, 2010 at 6:04 PM Subject: SVXLink Echolink AutoConnect To: svx...@li... Hi All, Because we are experimenting with linking a couple of svxlink repeaters together in 1 big repeater, i have added an autoconnect functionality to the ModuleEchoLink. This changes have been programmed against SVN rev 1866. You can find the 2 files I have changed (ModuleEchoLink.cpp and ModuleEchoLink.h) in the attachement of this email. To use it you can add 2 directives to the ModuleEchoLink.conf: DEFAULT_CONNECT=525838 DEFAULT_CONNECT_PERSIST=300 DEFAULT_CONNECT will set the echolink nodeid to start the connection to. If you ommit this, the autoconnect functionally will be disabled. DEFAULT_CONNECT_PERSIST will turn on a persistent connection with a reconnection timeout of 300 seconds. This can be usefull for when the default connection gets disconnected, the system will reconnect again in 300 seconds. If you ommit this, there will be no subsequent connections after the first established connection. If the system is connected to another node, it will not try to autoconnect. You could for example disconnect the default connection (dtmf #), and then connect to another node. As long as you are connected to another node, the connection to the default_connect node will not be established. After all connections are disconnected, the connect_persist timer will start if it is set. I hope I made myself clear. We will start implementing this on some repeater in ON-county. Maybe this can be included in the svn version of SVXLink ;) 73s Robbie ON4SAX |
