Hi, I notice this that the audio is chopped up for a couple of seconds and then it stabilizes. But I use software from the normal trunk and was check-out middle of December 2009. I will check the date later. For my remote opertion it's not so big problem but for an repeter system I see problems. 73 de Ulf/SM0LCB (SM7LCB) -----Original Message----- From: st...@ar... Subject: Re: [Svxlink-devel] New fifo design to compensate network packet jitter Hi Tobias, I use the FIFO every day in my remote audio app and it works fine. It works as expected in the EchoLink module as well, so I can't say what's wrong. I guess that the block size of the audio device is too high, so that too many samples are read from the FIFO at once causing an underrun. The underrub is handled by inserting silence samples into the output stream while re-filling the FIFO. Can you please tell me the block size you are using ? Maybe it would be a good idea to combine the FIFO with some ideas of the audio pacer. vy 73s de Steve, DH1DM ----- Original Nachricht ---- Von: Tobias Blomberg <sm...@us...> An: Discussions about development issues <svx...@li...> Datum: 27.01.2010 23:45 Betreff: Re: [Svxlink-devel] New fifo design to compensate network packet jitter > On Tuesday 19 January 2010 18:32:46 st...@ar... wrote: > > Hi Tobias, > > > > here it is, the so called AudioJitterFifo design.
