I think I have tried every combination but whatever I do my outgoing sound is not recorded on the test server (incoming works well). I only tried qtel after installing Ubuntu 8.04 but skype worked perfectly well on Ubuntu 7 (without pulseaudio) using the same sound card and microphone. It seems to me that qtel is suffering exactly the same problems as skype after the introduction of pulse audio. It shows the same symptoms. There are complicated workarounds for skype which might affect qtel but I think I will have to wait until the pulseaudio compatibility has been solved globally and hope that qtel will then work. I am encouraged by the fact that qtel works on Fedora but I don't want to change if possible. Unless anyone else has solved the problem? > Gervase Chavasse skrev: > >> Gervase Chavasse wrote: >> >> >>> Has anyone successfully got Echolink working on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Hardy >>> Heron) either through wine or qtel? >>> I have been trying for hours and am wondering whether I am chasing the >>> impossible. >>> >>> I have installed qtel, echolib and libasync.
