[Svxlink-devel] svxlink-server errors

Hi... After a break I've decided to have another look at svxlink as its just
what I need :)

On startup I get the following

SvxLink v0.4.0 (Mar 25 2005) starting up...
Using config file: /etc/svxlink.conf
Loading module "ModuleHelp"
        Module Help v0.4.0 starting...
Loading module "ModuleParrot"
        Module Parrot v0.4.0 starting...
Loading module "ModuleEchoLink"
        Module EchoLink v0.4.0 starting...
*** error: Sampling speed could not be set to 8000Hz. The closest speed
returned by the driver was 48000Hz

*** Error: Could not open audio device for receiver "Rx1"


Receiver Rx1 is set to /dev/dsp0

Sound can be heard by using "play"

Has anybody got any ideas as how to cure this  please
