I don't believe that the possibility to reconfigure key squences is very good. If you travel around and happen to find a SvxLink server on the air, it's good if all SvxLinks have the same key sequences. So, instead, we should improve the things that is not so good. I'm open to suggestions. > As a matter of fact someone that send a # on my radio side , can > disconnect me from the conference in wich i was and it's not correct. > I desire to have mine settings for connect, disconnect echolink station > and it will be a sequence of more DTMF characters. Yes, the way disconnections work is not satisfactory. Can you please explain in more detail, with an example, how you suggest it should work. Please explain using an example session with DTMF key presses and all. > We also suggest to include another feature in the software. > Actually when the software is connected to someone, if i send the * DTMF > tone i receive from my Link a voice that say me that software is active, > but he don't say if the status is connected or disconnected. > This feature is very important for all that wants control remotely our > links. Yes, this feature will be included some day. It's an easy fix so it does not have to be too long until it is implemented. > We have see that Tobias is just using a new release of svxlink and i > hope to be able to test it soon. Not many changes yet. I change the version as soon as I change something in the code. Unfortunately I have had very little time to work on SvxLink this fall. That's the way it is with free software. I hope to get some more free time soon to work on SvxLink. > Every other suggest about SvxLink software are appreciated from everyone. Yes, please tell me what you think is good and what is not so good. > Everyone a very very good Christmas and an happy new year 2005 for you > and your family.
