The 6th draft of SV-2012 was approved by IEEE last December, and it looks like support is creeping in to the vendor tools. I see that Questa seems to support the multiple inheritance offered with the new standard ("interface class" and "implements"). I anticipate that this is non-trivial to implement, but should be considered at some stage along with other SV-2012 additions (ref: http://events.dvcon.org/2012/proceedings/papers/04_3.pdf and http://blogs.mentor.com/verificationhorizons/blog/2012/12/05/ieee-approves-revised-systemverilog-standard/)
