I took a look at the 2013 IEEE standard, it looks like there should be braces around the expression. That said, I presume that at least 1 simulator allows what is shown in the snapshot attached. A relatively simple can be added to SVCovergroupParser.java:cover_point (line 160 or so) to test for an open paren before continuing.
Not sure how we want to handle this.
