Why is it that the details of my post get deleted when I hit Post in Chrome? Here it is again..

In Sonic Visualiser, the rendering of layers, (e.g., the spectrum and dB chart) are not quite instantaneous or continuous when recording, but rather are drawn ijn near one-second chunks at a time. The open-source audio analyzer Friture ( http://friture.org/ ) does a great job of providing instantaneous real-time feedback but lacks many of the functions and forms of analysis that Sonic Visualiser provides, including the capacity to record.

Please consider improving the graphing latency of Sonic Visualiser for recording. Being able to receive low-latency instantaneous audio analysis when recording is helpful when recording to create sound samples for soundfonts, for example, where constant pitch and db levels are required.
