SUSEsamba 0.2 Beta 2 Released!

With a few backend changes, along with a couple of GUI changes, SUSEsamba continues to improve. The most notable addition to 0.2b2 is that it uses RPM packages for easy installation and use. By using RPMs, it installs straight to your main menu, and makes sure you are running with the right permissions, making it even less work to get a proper Samba setup.

SUSEsamba 0.1 beta 2 released!

Beta 2 is out, with some great improvements. First, it fixes a major bug in the Samba setup that could cause an overwrite of the shares. A few other minor bugfixes improve it's ability to add and remove the necessary ports.

Some improvements in the interface come in the close firewall setup, allowing you to choose whether or not to turn off broadcast or remove your trusted network.
