[superversion] Howto import from CVS?

Hello,

I am using Superversion for a small home project. I like it very much. 
But I have some questions right now, I seem to be unable to fiddle out 
by myself ...

1. How do I import a project that currently resides in CVS? Is there
    any tool or such? Superversion was also held in CVS before it became
    mature enough to host itself. So I guess there should be such a
    tool, shouldn't it?

2. Is it possible to use command line + switches to get Superversion
    performing some tasks like commit or merge? I sometimes need being
    able to do something via a Telnet line. Starting the Java-GUI seems
    a big NONO there :-/

3. Is Superversion still being developed right now? I seem not to see
    any progress for a while. Just curious ...
