I want to build on mac osx so I've followed the instructions at " http://supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/Building_and_packaging_on_OSX". I'm using macports so I have used the "alternate path" near the bottom of the page. The instructions are not perfect and I've had to work some of out myself (e.g. instructions says pkgconig instead of pkgconfig) but when I got to the OPENAL section I cannot work out what the instructions should say. For step 4, I changed"sudo patch -p1 < openal-1.1-Portfile.diff" to "sudo patch -p1 < openal-1.1-Portfile.diff.txt" so that it worked. The terminal then displays: "can't find file to patch at input line 5 Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option? The text leading up to this was: -------------------------- |Index: audio/openal/Portfile |=================================================================== |--- audio/openal/Portfile (revision 34749) |+++ audio/openal/Portfile (working copy) --------------------------" So I type in what the instructions say for step 5 but I get the error: "patch: **** File /opt/local/var/macports/sources/<http://goog_1218623497469> rsync.macports.org/release/ports/audio/openal/<http://rsync.macports.org/release/ports/audio/openal/> is not a regular file -- can't patch" Does anyone know what I should type instead to make it work? |
