I am currently working on the camera (to remove all plib dependencies except for two or three plib-camera specific calls). I think I should be able to get the 'camera falling a bit behind if kart is accelerating' mode (as discussed elsewhere) to work, I found&fixed the reason for the jerky movements I had. Only problem: I would prefer not having yet another key for changing the camera. We could use the 'look back' key to cycle through the camera modes (normal, look back, FPS) - not sure how this feels in game. > The physics of stk seem to allow loopings without serious problems. There could be a problem with shortcut detection, since driveline segment a card is on is 'kind of' based on a ray cast from the kart's current position down (in world coordinates, not kart coordinates).
