[Super-tux-devel] Can't compile with boostjam?

I downloaded the SVN version of SuperTux and installed the required librari=
es.=20
When I try jam I get:

Error: You can't use boostjam for this build.

Why can't I use boostjam and what is the workaround? Can anyone tell me=20

Because you're trying to use Boost.Jam instead of jam.

This is Boost.Jam that you are trying to use:
http://www.boost.org/tools/build/jam_src/index.html

While this is the make replacement that supertux uses:
http://www.perforce.com/jam/jam.html

Download and install jam and use that instead, it should work all right.

OK. Last time perforce jam didn't compile but it mysteriously now compiles.=
=20
And I used it to compile supertux.=20

But why is supertux so slow? I did not find separate opengl for my graphics=
=20
card. Is that the reason? But then how does supertux-0.13 which comes with =
my=20
SUSE installation not affected by this problem?

Since boos.jam is supposed to be mostly backwards compatible, try editing the .jam files in mk/jam (/trunk/supertux/mk/jam/jamcompatibility.jam has that error you can try removing.)

  I haven't tried and am in no possition to try that. You'd be better probably just getting the standard version of jam like someone else said. (Unless you feel like messing with that.)
