And here is the review of the song. Hmm, I didn't even notice that It has 
"only" 6.0 for the rating. I've searched for songs above 8.0 :D

As far as I can see the song has no coypright (I checked it with
Soundtracker and a hexeditor ;)). Let's put it under the GPL.
If someone comes up and claimes he has the rights for it, we can
drop the song anyway and find a better one.
But I think even in this case the most authors would be satisfied,
when they are mentioned in the credits.

Uh... and then how do you force everyone ELSE who has decided to use
the song, since we claimed it is GPL, to stop using it!!! >:^(

People arleady use this song, because they get it from a free (as in free beer)
web archieve. If we aren't allowed to distribute it, then this archieve isn't either.
The only difference is that we would put it under the terms of the GPL. hmm
But it's possible that we can't use this song anyway, because SDL_mixer segfaults
on it. :(

Which is DIFFERENT than just "free as in beer!"

For example, when I made Tux Paint, I could not use just any TrueType Fon=
ts,
because 99.9999% of them have very restrictive licenses regarding
redistribution.

We cannot /assume/ we can take something and make it Free (as in speech)
without permission!

BTW, I know some MOD artists who have done GPL'd stuff for me, or allowed=
 me
to GPL their work, in the past.  Nutcase (Sami I Saarnio) and=20
Roz (Jarkko Rotsten).

I emailed Roz recently, and unfortunately, he's been too busy to made any
new MODs for games, though. :^(
