Most likly candidate for non-OpenGL machines are laptops with unsupported graphic chipsets, those however should have a few CPU cycles to spare in most cases, something to try out on them: open Window in 320x240, set glScaled(0.4, 0.4, 0.4), cross fingers that Mesa will be fast enough in that resolution.
