Sounds very good. Vaguely reminds me of the music in the second level of SMB. 
It could do with a drum track, though. Hard to explain exactly what I'm 
thinking of. In fact, give me a few minutes...

OK, attached is a RoseGarden file with some hastily-thrown-together drums in. 
RoseGarden seems to be a very nice tool... Playing the midi file and the ogg 
at the same time will explain what I think it needs better than words:

$ ogg123 na_forest2-remix.ogg & pmidi forest2-percussion.mid
