First I think it's a great piece, I love the harmonies and chord
progressions.

Well it does indeed sound more like a piece for an rpg now, but it might
still be usefull for places where we progress in the story.
In general you might try touching up your pieces with some effects/more
different instruments to make them more interesting. In this piece a bit
of hall to the piano would be a good idea I think. Would also be
interesting to experiment with oboe, saxophone or flute as lead voice
with the same piano/string background.
