There are various pages with various responses, but I think my favorite is here: http://www.linuxworld.com/story/37996_p.htm Tux has had several girlfriends over the past 4 years. Seems most left in the same hurry they arrived in. Seems Tux remains focussed on being around for a long time. Chances are Tux will remain a bachelor. Well, if he's had multiple girlfriends in the past, I see no reason that he shoudn't have a differently named girlfriend now. But that's just me. Gwen sounds better than Gown, but it isn't a great name. However, I think Gown sucks awfully as a name, so I personally rather it not be included at all. It might be an entertaining pun, but it doesn't sound like a name at all. If anyone has a better name for his girlfriend, feel free to share it. However, as much as geeks like puns, let's remember that this isn't a game designed just for geeks. Thus Tux's girlfriend shouldn't have a name my little sister grimaces at just because we think it's kind of funny. Christopher Allan Webber | The bottom line |
