A lot of other Windows programs will fail to work correctly in a cygwin PTY. One of the ones that really annoys me is "net user $user *" -- I want to be able to change Windows user passwords via command-line without echo. While it would be nice if individual programs such as sudowin worked around this, it would probably make more sense for cygwin itself to make its PTYs fundamentally acceptable as Windows consoles. This should probably be reported to the cygwin people instead of / in addition to the sudowin people.

Note: I'm one of your fellow sudowin users, not a sudowin developer.
