I'm trying to work with a video that has two audio tracks. Problem is SW plays both tracks.
Movie menu has an entry "Audio stream", but it's greyed, not enabled.
How to play just one audio at a time?

What codecs and splitter is your system using to play this video?
There are usually small tray icons that appear in your system tray at the bottom right during playback.
If the Audio Stream selection menu is grayed out, it's most likely a Media Splitter issue.
With any video problems I usually recommend uninstalling all codecs and codec packs and then installing the latest version of a popular codec pack like K-Lite.
I'm using K-Lite and I have no problems with the video you provided. Audio stream selection works fine.
If I use the default Microsoft splitter for AVI files, I can select between the two audio streams in Subtitle Workshop. If I use Haali Media Splitter for AVI files, I can select between the audio stream from Haali. K-Lite gives you a Codec Tweak Tool that allows you to select your preferred splitters for different formats. You can select which splitter to use during the installation of K-Lite as well.
I can't guarantee this works exactly the same for other codec packs, but it should.

Spiridonov, by the way, I'd like to receive e-mail notices whenever a new post was done. I had subscribed all topics and threads here, but no message has coming to my inbox, at all...
So, how to receive e-mails alerts that a new post was done at the forum?
Thx

If you have checked the checkbox in front of a forum thread, you should be receiving e-mails. If you're not receiving any e-mails, there's a problem with the forum system.
However, the forum system is managed by the SourceForge team, so there's really nothing I can do about it unfortunately. You can ask SourceForge for help here: https://sourceforge.net/support (click on "Login and report an issue with SourceForge services").

Greetings from Romania, dear SourceForgers and Subtitle Workshopers! ^_^
I used this application (ie, SW) for some time now... More to the point, I used the 2.0 and the 2.51 versions between 2005 and 2010 / 2011. :-) And now, I see myself put in front of a "genuine" revolution: ver. 6.0b :-P
But, is it possible for its developers to upload an actually workable executable of this application, please? For I downloaded it a number of times by now, and all it did was to give me errors after errors while trying to install it! O.o So, I'm stuck with ver. 4 (Beta). I'm stuck with it only to find that... it CANNOT switch between audio streams! And this drives me crazy, really.
I mean, I try to re-sync a PLETHORA of Romanian subtitles for the "Columbo" series - which come as BR-rips and with English-Russian dual channels -, and I have to listen to BOTH audio streams, and I can't make heads and tails out of it! :-((( So, HOW am I supposed to CORRECTLY re-sync the subtitles?! This is my ordeal, for now...
! Tech data for the one-channeled files (sorry, I don't know how to generate .NFOs out .MKVs):
VIDEO CODEC....: x264 mkv
RESOLUTION.....: 960x720
BITRATE........: 2 182 Kbps
FRAMERATE......: 23.976 fps
AUDIO..........: English AC3 2.1 448 Kbps
P.S. I already tried to switch between audio channels, namely from the panel of SW 4 (Beta), but it shows... grey, as I see that it shows for other users, as well. And I just installed the K-Lite Pack (the latest version!), after previously installing the: AC Filter, Haali Splitter and FF-Show; I uninstalled those due to the K-Lite. And now I can't even hear the audio streams in the editor! O.o
Thank you, in advance!

I have also tried to switch between multiple audio channels of a video, from the panel of SW 6, but the option is not vailable. Further, the audio stream under Movie is grey out. And K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (the latest version!), is installed on my Windows 7 64bit.
A solution or a fix may please be provided.
thank you!

I'd like to help you, but the solution I'd give is related to K-Lite and installed codecs and splitters.
As you already said that the problem remains, better if we ask for help from Andrey Spiridonov, if he still follows this thread.

Hi, Kameleon_.
Thank you for your always useful support for this program.
I already had Subtitle Workshop 6.0D. I just downloaded another copy using link from your message and could see that, despite it shows same version number, 6D, EXE files have different sizes and, of course, CRC checks.
Are there any difference between them?

You are very right!
I'm using Haali Media Splitter and DirectVobSub. I can manage audio tracks with both.
THREAD SOLVED.
Thx.
Not so sure it's solved.
Because you should never be getting both audio tracks playing simultaneously. When is this particular situation happening (both tracks playing)?

If you have checked the checkbox in front of a forum thread, you should be receiving e-mails. If you're not receiving any e-mails, there's a problem with the forum system.
However, the forum system is managed by the SourceForge team, so there's really nothing I can do about it unfortunately. You can ask SourceForge for help here: https://sourceforge.net/support (click on "Login and report an issue with SourceForge services").
I made a request about this issue at SourceForge Support.
Waiting for an answer.
Thx.
I tried it and I actually do receive mail notifications about posts here, so the system works.
Could it be your e-mail spam filter or something?

Hi, PhaneendraraoSV.
I'd like to help you, but the solution I'd give is related to K-Lite and installed codecs and splitters.
