Greetings and thank you for picking up this project. I am thrilled I don't have to convert my files to avi to use Subtitle Workshop,

At first I thought Pascal Scripts just weren't working in 6.3.x, but then after carefully checking what was going on, it is clear you have a different Pascal compiler, and it seems pickier that the old one.

For one thing, it refuses to compile with defined variables that are not used. Edit: Oops, no, it will compile but it will tell you it thinks you are a bad programmer. It is also picky about using semicolons after "end." It appears that some new variables or constants have been predefined, which conflicts with the variables I have used. For example "newline" had to be changed to another name. It looks like almost all of my scripts need to be edited to be compliant with the new compiler. Also some previously defined constants seem to be missing or defined differently such as fsBold. I get a type mismatch error on that one.

Am I correct in assuming that the compiler code is different?

Edit: Most of my scripts have been edited now to work.

    Thanks

I'm not a Pascal expert, Otto.
So, let's wait anybody else to comment your questions.

You're using a fork of subtitle workshop, ask your questions there. That's why they can't answer your question here.
