Bug description

If I go to Tools -> Information and errors -> Settings -> Advanced -> and then change "Too short pause under" to a value of 0, it doesn't change it to a nearest value (If focus on the input field is lost), but it acts as if it is a valid value, but doesn't save it.

When confirming the changes, it silently fails to set the value and without a feedback to the user, it reverts the value to what it was (or default, haven't tested that scenario - it probably just doesn't save it).

Feature request / weird current behaviour

Furthermore, the application considers subtitles that have a pause of exactly 0ms as overlapping. That is subjective, and there should be a checkbox called "Strict overlapping subtitles detection" on that very same tab (Advanced for error inspection settings) that would only mark subtitles that actually overlap (the pause between them is less than 0, but not zero inclusive).

This however begs the question how does the application handle cases when there are two subtitles that have the same entry and disposal time. Let me check... actually, that should be fine, it does show a negative pause number in that case.

User case scenario

I'm making correction to old subtitles. A lot of them have pauses ranging from -1 to -10. In the past, Youtube solved this situation by making two subtitles appear simultaneously. This feature has since been removed (one more to the pile of removed features), and now it just screws the subtitles up.

The problem is that I have no way of showing JUST these "errors". I have a lot of 0 pause subtitles, and the inspection shows those as overlapping, even though they are technically not, and I need it to show only those that have a pause UNDER 0ms (i.e. a negative pause). As an alternative, I tried using the inspection for pauses that are too small, but then I found out about the bug that glitches the thing if I put 0 as the upper exclusive minimum for the "Too short pause under" inspection (as mentioned in the very first paragraph of this ticket).

Oh, and by the way, as far as the limitation of recent files remembered, I need to open dozens of files for a one-time change. I just hope that 100 recent files will be enough not to lose the recent files remembered that I want to store... too bad I can't set it to 1000.

This unlimited recent files possibility will be availabe in the next version v6.2.10.

        Thank you, much appreciated.

I don't know when will be the next time that I will have to manually edit whole batches of subtitles, but not having to manually backup my recent files will become handy eventually.

Wil be corrected in version 6.2.10.

In the oncoming version 6.2.10 a pause of zero will not be detected as 'overlapping', however no extra checkbox will be added. So only subtitle actually overlapping will be marked as such.

That works too. I just hope somebody wasn't using that specific scenario (0 to be considered overlapping in whatever they needed)
