Hi, many thanks for this, especially the UTF8 and UTF16 support.

Unfortunately the dialog sizes no longer work for lower-resolution monitors. On my laptop's native monitor (1366 x 768) many dialogs now get cut off. This results in many settings, OK button, Cancel button etc. not being reachable.

Attached an example.

Many thanks,
Francois

Hi François, this problem has been solved in release 2018-03-29. Resizing of forms can now be done to a lower vertical number of pixels.
I hope everything is Ok now for the lower resolution monitors (1280/768).

    kind regards,
    Dany

    Hi Dany,
Unfortunately I don't see improvement? Attached the above example, in the new version, this time resized to full screen.
What about grouping elements closer together, or maybe making the dialog scrollable when it's too small to fit everything? I'd be happy with whatever approach works and is easiest for you to implement :-).
    Thanks and kind regards,
    François

Hi François, could you please also try version 2018-04-06? I think it should be Ok now. Probably you will have to resize the form to make it fit on your screen.
      Thanks in advance.

    Hi Dany,
Many thanks for your trouble but unfortunately the problem persists. On the external LCD panel, the lowest vertical resolution at which I could make the OK/Cancel buttons visible was 864. At the built-in panel's 768 vertical resolution they still don't show up (on either monitor obviously ;-)).
But never mind, I'll switch to the external panel to change settings.
    Thanks again,
    François

      Hi François,

I made a lot of changes in versions 61.1. and 61.2. regarding window sizes and resizing.
Could you please check this issue in the version 61.2? Thanks in advance.

        Hi Dany,

Thanks, I hope to try it out the next couple of days.

Apologies for not getting back sooner.

Settings dialogs look alright when opened on a 1920 x 1080 display.

When opened on a 1366 x 768 display the settings at the top now get obscured by the Modify the program configuration banner. E.g. with General settings, the settings for Always on top and Allow more than one instance running do not show at the top. Scrolling up/down or maximising the dialog doesn't fix the problem. There's plenty of room in the dialog but it looks like not enough space is left between the bottom of the banner and the top setting.

If I then take that Settings dialog and drag it to the 1920 x 1020 display the problem remains. If I then maximise the dialog on the same display, it doesn't fill the whole display and the problem remains. The attachment shows what the dialog looks like at this point (maximised on the 1920 x 1080 display with the banner obscuring Always on top and Allow more than one instance running).

Sorry the news wasn't better! If you want to compare some results your side see if you can perhaps set a lower resolution close to 1366 x 768.
