I'd love to have keyboard shortcuts to apply to a subtitle:
1. Set default pause
2. Set minimum duration
3. Set both of the above
Just like Alt-c and Alt-v for the "show" and "hide" times.
This way you don't have to use the mouse every time you want to
set them.
I checked the "shortcuts.key" file but couldn't find any option to
do it.
Thanks and keep the good work.

I see that both Alt-C and Alt-V are taking the value of the playback time (current time in the movie) as value to be set for the Start and end-time of a subtitle.
What value should I take for the default pause time and the minimum duration time? Do you have a suggestion?
Or should I make the menu (Settings General) visible when those shortcut keys are invoked?
Thanks in advance.

I'd like keyboard shortcuts to, since the basics like:
New (Ctrl+N)
Open (Ctrl+O)
Open Translation (Ctrl+Shift+O)
Open Project (Alt+P)
Open Video (Ctrl+P)
Save (Ctrl+S)
Save As (Ctrl+Shift+S)
Save Project (Shift+Alt+P)
Save Translation (Shift+Ctrl+S)
Save Original As (Shift+Alt+O)
Save Translation As (Shift+Alt+T)
Thanks for the project!

The shortcuts you mention were already there (inherited from version 6.0b), with exactly the same codes as you suggest. Unfortunately the previous setup file did not include the 'shortcuts.key' file in the installation of Subtitle Workshop. So, my mistake. Attached you find the missing file to be placed in the same directory as "Subtitle Workshop.exe ".
In the next release it will also be possible to change the shortcuts from within Subtitle Workshop, so manual editing of shortcuts.key will no longer be necessary.
Sorry I didn't replied before, but I was out of town and then on holiday and
so on.
I think the pause value should be taken from the
Settings-->Advanced-->Default subtitle pause, and duration from
Settings-->Advanced-->Default subtitle duration. Without displaying
anything, just like Alt-c and Alt-v do.
Cheers.

Hi Garfield, your requests for 3 new shortcuts will be implemented in the next release.
Additionally editing the shortcuts will be possible from within Subtitle Workshop, so manual editing of the 'shortcuts.key' file is no longer necessary.
Thanks again for the suggestion!

Hi Kameleon.
It's possible to add keyboard shortcuts for step up/down the actual show and hide timings?
The basic steps maybe would set to 0,010, 0,100, and 1,000 ms in main settings or only fix 0,100 ms could do it and the show and hide timing set with for example
ALT/ and CTRL/ Up and Down or + and - .
Thanks in advance for your response.

This last request would be awesome. A possible to edit show and hide timings (step up/down). Of course, it would be awesome to be able to set how many ms you want.
Thanks Quinnell for proposing it and thanks Kameleon for reviving SW.

Hi Anonymous,
This will be available in version 6.1.5. The "Increase step" setting is used.

Hi Kameleon! Hope you're ok.
This last request would be awesome. A possible to edit show and hide timings (step up/down). Of course, it would be awesome to be able to set how many ms you want.
Thanks Quinnell for proposing it and thanks Kameleon for reviving SW.
The shift values used can be set in: Settings -> Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Shift Time. Change and press "ok".

All requests (as fas as possible) should be incorporated in version 6.1.5
