Hello. one problem . when "Text before colon (:)" is checked and "only if text is in capital letters" is unchecked, it dectects the lines for example "Donna: If there’s ever a good time to be alive" but when i apply fix it wont delect the "Donna:". i would like that the outcome frase would be like "If there’s ever a good time to be alive" and it would remove the "Donna:". Am i missing something or is just an app problem? Thanks.

Thank You for the response :) After Your answer I discovered something: All the time I tried to drag subtitles down and that's why assumed it didn't work at all. But I didn't test dragging them up - not changing anything this it worked. But the original problem with subtitles being too high persisted even after dragging them down - there's like an invisible gap between the bottom line and the bottom edge of Video Preview Panel. So, next I tried your solution - I turned off everything under settings...

Very strange. Try perhaps right click on video and choose "reset subtitle vertical position". It is currently not possible to do this from menu. Do you have special settings on in the "Video Preview Subtitles" as "relative font size", "Keep subtitles on video" or "Try alternative rendering method"? These can sometimes give unpredictable results.

Hi! Thanks for the continued development of this great program! 6.3.1 Portable is my first version of the Classic and I have a small problem. It should behave like this: "The vertical position of the subtitles in the Video Preview Panel can now be changed by dragging the subtitles up and down with the mouse." Here, subtitles are almost in the middle and I simply cannot change their vertical position - dragging is treated as a click (which ofc simply plays or pause video.) My OS is Win 10, and I use...

Here: Settings -> Edit shortcuts -> Search -> to add Close search window -> because I wanted to set the keyboard shortcut Esc - it turned out that such an option to close a given window does not exist. I'm comfortable using the Esc key, but no option exists in the current options in Search. It remains for you to consider the last paragraph of my previous opinion whether other users will agree that this should be preserved in the manner of this test version number 4. I am sure they all agree, otherwise it is an extra option/shortcut and its corresponding translation again, and there are plenty of them already. I think the behaviour is logical now.

What I show in this picture is exactly how I set Subtitle workshop to run in all its versions. The window on the right is an absolute must for me to always be running. Fully agreed. In test version 4 I provided this should be the case. The ESC key should not close the window in that version. Without selecting anything at all - I just scrolled with the mouse wheel and the Hunspell window disappeared. Hi Seagate, Now I found that Subtitle workshop v.6.2.12 portable doesn't render with my language translation this: In Bulgarian.lng this is located in the section: [Settings form] - under line 148. There are 7 lines with translations that do not have line numbers with numbers in front of them?! In the English.lng file also the specified 7 lines in front of them do not contain numbers and it is the same way. I am posting this here so that it can be fixed in the upcoming next version. If i want to force that than could be Pascal-szkript but ehh... :-) I will add an exception for it. I think for most languages this holds also, so I also made an check exception for them. Translation of those words is still possible however. Thanks for your update.

I put my mouse cursor right where the arrow is in red and if I'm not looking - it's almost always either before that place or it's after that place where I put the mouse cursor. Seeking through the video (while having the seekbar preview feature off) by double clicking a subtitle also causes the GUI to stutter for a few seconds, so the main issue of this Issue will remain, but most excrutiating problems with it can be workarounded with the aforementioned grace time seekbar preview period. Fun fact - I disabled Seekbar hovering, and while the seekbar preview doesn't occur, the GUI stutter happens anyway. The video has been paused for a few minutes, I move the mouse over the seekbar, the entire system GUI starts stuttering and I can barely move my mouse. There is something finicky happening there.

A grace period for video seekbar preview should be made configurable. If the cursor is still on the taskbar after the grace period, then start the preview routine, but not before. Mine would be set to ~300ms. I just need it not to start loading stuff from my HDD the moment when my mouse cursor is crossing the seekbar from the video player area to the subtitles area. Good suggestion. I will have a look into it.

So I tested it and it appears to indeed by the seekbar feature. There is an easy way to solve it WITHOUT turning it off. We need a configurable grace period before the seekbar activates its function to render the preview. Currently, in my testing: 1. Video is not playing. (i.e. the issue itself indeed isn't caused by the playback itself. I just tested it, and as long as I do not cross the seekbar, pausing the playback doesn't trigger GUI "hiccuping") 2.
