I think by default it caches them until it stores up five and then sends
them out five at a time.

I did several trackback tests using Phil's temporary blog and this one:

So far it seems hit or miss. mostly miss. Actually, after my initial
successes yesterday, none of the trackbacks have worked in either direction.
How often does the service run? 

 

Yesterday I did a few more test trackbacks and they have all failed to show
up even after waiting overnight. A little while ago I did a couple both ways
between the site listed above and Phil's site below. You can take a look,
but at the moment, no trackbacks.
