Several albums in my music collection consist of MP3 files that have cover art embedded in them. None of these files appear in Subsonic. It seems like they are simply ignored. No errors are logged.
Here is the output when running ffprobe on one of the files:
[mp3 @ 0x19f5940] Skipping 0 bytes of junk at 64026.
[mp3 @ 0x19f5940] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate

Can you please send me one of the offending files so I can try to reproduce?
Thanks, Sindre

Thanks for the file. It appeared just fine on my server with cover art and all, so not sure why it doesn't work for you.
Can you please try to manually change the last-modified date of the directory one of these files are residing, and then rescan the library?
Doing a touch on the containing directory worked! Thanks!
