Sorry if this question sounds dumb to any, but I'm not very good at this kind of stuff. If I pause or stop the stream through winamp for a short time, and then start it again, will the ripper pickup on this, or will it continue to rip?

If you stop/pause it in Winamp it will NOT pause the recording in streamripper. Couldn't you have found this out yourself by listening to what you recorded... :)

Hm, I got a little confused, then, because in the winamp tutorial posted on the site, it specifically says to have winamp playing when you rip.
So you're saying I don't have to do that? I can just start the ripping without having the winamp stream?
Yes, Bob is correct. Streamripper will keep ripping.
Maybe I need to update the tutorial...
