Streamripper seems to download some stuff, but after the 10 second break I only get gibberish. How do I check if the stream has the right format for streamripper? TripleJ offer more streams than just this one:
Download the .pls file (it is a 'playlist') and look inside. You find e.g.
File1=http://shoutmedia.abc.net.au:10326/
Use this URL for streamripper and it should work.
BTW, is there any coding activity (and if yes: where) ?
Should be easy to support different playlist formats directly.

Hello there,
I'm trying to rip the TripleJ online radio stream using the following command.
Streamripper seems to download some stuff, but after the 10 second break I only get gibberish. How do I check if the stream has the right format for streamripper? TripleJ offer more streams than just this one:
http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/media/listen.htm?show=listen#
Can I rip one of these with streamripper?
Thanks for any help in advance!
That is not a Shoutcast stream.
Download the .pls file (it is a 'playlist') and look inside. You find e.g.

Nope, sadly that doesn't work either, it records just gibberish like when I try with the original link.
