I was submitting a new test request via the new web
interface:
http://stp.testing.osdl.org/test_requests/new
I selected "dbench-quick" to run. I selected "Gentoo
1.4.16" for the distro. I left both the "linux" and
"systat" fields blank under the Software Components
section. I then hit the "Request Test" button.
Shouldn't I be required to enter something like
"linux-2.6.16" into the "linux" field under the
Software Components section. How else is my test going
to know which kernel to run against? As a result, my
test request failed with the following output:
[STP 303310] Error in State inst (patch: BAD_DB_RESULT,
BAD_DB_RESULT)
The STP was attempting to use kernel BAD_DB_RESULT PLM
patch BAD_DB_RESULT when the failure occurred
Log Outputs
No build outputs found
The test request process should be a bit more robust to
not submit the test request without this field being
entered. It should prompt the user on what fields
still need to be filled in.
Thanks,
Leann
