Storm Package Manager / News: Recent posts

pretty soon we're gonna have to start working on adding
apt v0.4 features into storm package manager. see this debian weekly news (http://www.debian.org/News/weekly/2000/30/) for details.

we now have shorty doing the german translation, and marcelo doing the spanish translation. there's probably someone at stormix doing the japanese translation.

if anyone else would like to translate, we'd be happy to hear from you! :) we'd really like a portuguese translation...is there someone from brazil around?

the source is now in CVS. I'm now doing some little fixes to remove some auto-generated files that somehow got into CVS.

i just added "stormpkg-announce" and "stormpkg-devel" mailing lists. if anyone can think of another list they want, just let me know.....stormpkg-cabal, maybe? just kidding >;)

I'm here at LinuxTag 2000 in Stuttgart, Germany, and I've been getting a lot of questions about when i'm getting my act together to put the project here on sourceforge....so, when i get back to vancouver, i'll be spending some time specifically on the Storm Package Manager...it should be up here on tuesday. The makefile needs some fixing, but i'll just put it in the CVS here on tuesday and make the changes afterwards (just to ensure i don't get distracted by the five other projects i'm trying to do at the same time ;)... read more
