Hello,
I'm moving from Win98 to Linux and from MagiC-PC to
STonX. Vs 0.6.7.4 is contained in SuSE Linux 9.0 Prof.
I use TOS 2.06.
STonX does well to read my old letters, articles and e-mails
written in the past 10 years with TOS prgs.
STonX also runs prgs written with GfA-Basic, but only those
withouit a menu. Any prg using GfA MENU commands does not run.
MENU.PRG for the GfA compiler produces an error message
"Illegal AES function call".
Is there anything I can do to get around this?
1) Try to upgrade to STonX 0.6.7.5 - it's probably a bug that has already been fixed in the newest version.
2) If this does not help and you are starting the program from an emulated hard disk: Try to copy the program to a disk image and start it from there - sometimes programs only work if they are started from a disk image.
3) Try a different TOS version.
4) If you are using the "-size" command line parameter: Try it without this parameter.
You can use the FLOPPY-4.MB file with the "-disk" parameter, e.g.:
./stonx -disk /path/to/FLOPPY-4.MB

How can FLOPPY-4.MB be used?
