Bugs item #730086, was opened at 2003-04-30 01:59 Message generated for change (Settings changed) made by chrisdanford You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=421366&aid=730086&group_id=37892 Category: Misc. Glitches Group: CVS build (old) Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 1 Submitted By: Billy Ingram (skullie) >Assigned to: Chris Danford (chrisdanford) Summary: Can use BACK to fool extra stage into a different group Initial Comment: Okay, when you AA a song on Heavy as your last stage, with PICK EXTRA STAGE on, Stepmania selects a song from the song folder you were playing in and turns it 'golden'. You may pick any song from any songs folder, but if you pick the 'golden' song and AA it, you obtain the One More Extra Stage. This is the normal process. So let's say we're playing 8th mix and have Legend of Max as our 'golden' song at the moment. If you go to a different songs folder - let's say Solo 2000 in our example, where the 'golden' song is Drop Out - you should be able to pick any song but of course not get the One More Extra Stage. However, if you select any song from Solo 2000, and then hold the BACK key to go back to the menu, Stepmania now thinks that your 'golden' song is from THIS songs folder. Drop Out is now 'golden'! That certainly makes getting One More Extra Stage a lot easier, but it is still a bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Chris Danford (chrisdanford) Date: 2003-08-02 15:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=182442 Low priority IMHO. Users can already cheat a lot of ways with the Back button (e.g. quit a song if they're not going to get an extra stage). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Chris Danford (chrisdanford) Date: 2003-08-02 14:48 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=182442 whoops. Mis-clicked. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Chris Danford (chrisdanford) Date: 2003-08-02 14:47 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=182442 This problem is fixed in CVS, and should be in the next release. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=421366&aid=730086&group_id=37892 |
