Sorry to reply so late.
It sounds not transparent enough in SM(I use QCD Player &
OggdropXPd), and the decoder seems to generate more hiss(I'm
not sure)??
But the bug occurs in early immediate versions, I have not
tried on the new one.

My last comment in this bug doesn't make any sense.  I must 
have completely mis-read the original description.

Kuo - can you attach a short low-bitrate ogg that sounds bad 
in SM but good in other ogg players?  We're using the same 
ogg decoder as everybody else, so I can't imagine why we'd 
sound different.

I hear this too.  It doesn't seem to be specific to oggs though 
because I often hear a blip of the previous song when 
scrolling in the music wheel and all my songs are mp3s.  I will 
look into this someday.  It's very annoying, but I've become 
so used to it that it doesn't bother me :-)
