For me, the 3.0 is "final enough". There are always corrections to a software, or else, it becomes a dead software. I suggest the following "generic" roadmap: incrementing x.x.1 (eg: 3.0 to 3.0.1) : bug correction incrementing x.1 (eg: 3.0.x to 3.1) : feature addition incrementing 1 (eg: 3.x to 4.0) : major changes So, correcting the major bugs would fall to the 3.0.1 & up versions. Implementing OpenGL and SDL and everything, as well as all the new versions would fall to 4.0 for me. Next time Mike |
