Sometimes, when adding the Hard complexity, saving, modifying and so on, I will lose one of the complexities. Before saving, I must make sure everything is still all right by doing multiple F5-F6, to see if all my steps are still there. A mis-written file will have the symptom of having (for example) two "HARD" complexities, one with the previously saved set of arrows, and one with the new ones, but the easiest being deleted. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Michel Donais (cpct0) Date: 2006-06-10 18:38 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=315920 It might have something to do with a memory overrun too. I am attaching a new file, including a crashinfo.txt (only the names of the files have been changed, due to NDA requirements - they have been renamed PREVIOUSSONGNAME and SONGNAMECURRENTLYEDITING) The crash occured during edition, while I was switching from 1/4 to 1/8 or adding-removing a note (can't tell, was doing that rapidly), after a Play. The only weird things on my configuration I can think of are the following: - French language, with some skin missing sometimes (like when I go to edit, which is not frequently anyways, not during that session or I can't remember) - My usage of F5-F6 to move around complexities - Am using .WAV files as playback medium (44 or 48KHz 16-bit Stereo Little-Endian, the one currently editing was 48KHz) - Am using a the digital SMPTE output of my Realtek card to play back sound, with external clock (given by my MOTU Traveler) -- that never lead me to any trouble, except some garbage sometimes when software cannot cope with precise external clocks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=421366&aid=1503263&group_id=37892 |
