Barry is right. And up to now there are no objects in stellarium for which tracking by the telescope itself is not good enough. When we someday should get accurate positions of artificial satellites, we will also have to be able to track them with telescope control.

If the scope normally tracks objects the Stellarium scope driver will follow the scope and will so cause the stellarium scope position indicator to follow as well.
