#257 Command to add TXT file to active folder

Milestone: 1.8.6.1062 ... not listed in Milestones drop down
Command to add a new TXT file in active/selected folder/directory

What would be the command string to add a new file into the active folder,
- or would I have to use "AutoHotKeys" to create an .ahk file and add the full path-name into the "Command Line"

This...
copy NUL %curdir\new_file.txt
... does not do anything, infact even a simple Send. {delete} does no delete the selected file-folder

NOTE: Contrib folder no longer exists
