Are you using the current "Getting Started with STAX" document at 
http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/staxgs.pdf?  It was updated on May 
12th for the following problem:

Summary: Incorrect <env> used in Getting Started with STAX document

Initial Comment:
FunctionParameters.xml (sections 7.8 and 8.7) and
FunctionParametersLogging.xml (sections 7.9 and 8.8)
have an incorrect <env> for the <process>.  Currently
they have:

<env>classpath</env>

But it should be:

<env>'CLASSPATH=%s' % classpath</env>

When submitting the xml file FunctionParameters.xml (available in the 
Getting Started guide), getting the following error. TestProcess class 
does 
exist in that location. The env tag works okay for the previous examples, 
but appears not working in this case. Any idea how to make this example 
work?

My Test Process with parms 10,3,99 Error: RC=1, STAXResult=[[0, 
'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: 
com/ibm/staf/services/stax/TestProcess\r\nException in thread "main" ']]
