I'm trying to set up an environment where Process A, a Java application, sends messages with a STAF queue to Process B which is a running STAX script. Process A is started by process B, so I have the opportunity to pass it a STAF handle number (or perhaps I can use a process name?). I just can't figure out what handle, or name might apply (or be set?) for my STAX process. Do I need to do a STAF HANDLE CREATE and use that, or is there one around? Alternative, I could turn things around and start process B from process A, but what I get back from STAX execute is job id, not a STAF handle. I'm betting that this has been solved lots of times, but I don't know where to look. Is there a STAF/STAX equivalent of CPAN for Perl, or perhaps just a place with more coding examples? Bruce |
