Libtoolization

Hello,
I am preparing a Debian package for the io-lib, and I would like it to contain .so libraries. To produce them, I will use libtool, and had to apply the following patch to the latest 1.11.3 sources. It may need a lot of improvement as I have no real training in C programming. The patch also produces dynamically linked programs instead of static ones.
Have a nice day,

Libtoolizes and renames libread to libstaden-read.
Here is an updated version of the patch. It also renames libread to libstaden-read, as discussed with James and the Fedora maintainer: http://lists.debian.org/debian-med/2008/09/msg00003.html

Sorry for the tardy resolution of this patch. Libtool now exists in io_lib and has for some time.
