The present admin of SSquared at present cannot devote much time to the development of the project. This would continue for some 10 more months. If some other programmer(s) is/are willing to join the project. Please send an email to the admin.

A new ssquared release has been scheduled to be release within 15-days.
The new search engine would feature the following:
Usage of MySQL for storing and retrieving cached documents.
Usage of a more advanced syntax than the first release.
Usage of better search algorithms.

After the release the project would need some database programmers to write Postgre SQL and Oracle versions of search storage.

The first version of SSquared search engine has been released. The version is in pre-alpha stage. Main features include using PHP as frontend and XML as backend. Please get your copy from the 'Files' section
