User Reviews

  • SSW and it's companions are the best Mech design tools for the BattleTech universe. I really wish they had something for Aerospace, DropShips, WarShips and Space Stations. These tools are far better than any other.
  • Very solid mech designer. Love that it exports to MTF, too!
  • SSW is great for a variety of reasons. The big reasons this program should appeal to current (2012) Battletech players is that it is A) Still being supported, and B) Works fine on Windows7. Some other benefits include having a great database of files available, and being incredibly easy to install (just extract the download and it is good to go). Making new mechs/vehicles is straightforward, doubly so if you've ever used another mech-builder program before. The visual design of the builder and its output is also pretty sweet. Way to go Solaris team!
