For non-root node set default GATWAY via redhat-config- network utility (and also update network device, IP address) or directly update one of the above files. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2004-07-13 16:10 Message: Logged In: NO This problem doesn't happen now(with root nodes) but do happen with non-root nodes. check for GATWAY field in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 OR /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/ifcfg-eth0 file. Zafman (dzafman) Date: 2004-07-12 22:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=297844 Is it possible that the change below fixes this problem? My fix only helps for nodes joining a cluster after any node has done a clusternode_shutdown. This bug seems to say there is a problem when rebooting the entire cluster, I'm not sure. BUG FIX: Network service messed up after a clusternode_shutdown In special case code that skips network service delete the local lock file not the global openssi/distro-pkgs/redhat/initscripts/rc.d/cn_rc 1.1.2.4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: David B. Zafman (dzafman) Date: 2004-04-15 07:00 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=297844 If you reproduce this problem, first check that a file /cluster/var/lock/subsys/*network exists. John saw something that looked like this problem, but we found the lock file missing and a dependent node wasn't starting network at all as a result. After a reboot everything worked again and the lock file was present as expected. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=405834&aid=934842&group_id=32541 |
